Omneuron is currently conducting a pilot study in Healthy Participants.

Omneuron is looking for healthy volunteers for a functional MRI research study. Participation would require multiple visits, 1-3 hours long at our office in Menlo Park where you would participate in a pain thresh hold study in a MRI scan session. The pain sensation comes from a device that will apply brief pressure to your finger. Before participating in a scan session you will have a non-scan visit to decide your tolerance range. Compensation (must be a US citizen or legal resident w/green card) is $10h for travel and time outside the scanner, $30h for time spent in the scanner.

An eligibility criterion includes:

          - No metal piercings or implants that can’t be removed (dental work is OK)

          - Good vision or correction with contact lenses

          - Weight under approximately 220 lbs.

          - No history of chronic pain

          - No psychiatric illness: such as major depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar, PTSD, ocd, etc

          - No history of traumatic brain injury or stroke

          - No neurological conditions such as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, etc.

          - No facial tattoos

          - No claustrophobia

          - Able to attend multiple MRI scan sessions in Menlo Park, CA

          - Interest in participating in brain activity research
